No, we are an independently owned and operated local family business.
Only eligible bottles, cans and containers. Look for the 10c label to see if it is eligible for a refund.
Most cans (e.g. soft drinks), and bottles ( e.g. beer bottles) are eligible.
Most containers between 150ml and 3 litres are accepted and can get you a refund. However, they must be empty, in good condition and have the label attached.
Remember to leave the lids on when returning your containers. They'll be recycled too.
Please do not place other recyclables or waste in our bins.
No, you don’t need to be home. Just let us know a safe place to leave it.
Yes. Using Can Club bins helps us keep the cost of the service down as much as possible. We use special bin lifting equipment to handle the bins for emptying, sorting and counting.
No, you don't need to buy a Can Club bin. There is no up-front cost. We currently provide a bin free of charge. A $19.99 once-off account fee is deducted from your 1st collection(s).
Can Club owns the bin. Please take all reasonable steps to keep the bin in a safe place so it does not get damaged, or stolen.
Please No! Your Can Club bin is only for deposit containers. The more empty deposit containers you include the more you’ll earn!
No, when your bin is full, simply sign in and select a collection day from the available dates.
We collect full bins free of charge.
We are happy to collect your bin upon your request, whether full or not.
Some customers have their bin collected before it is full if they know they have big event coming up, say Xmas or a party.
We charge $4.99 for collecting partially full bins.
Can Club bins are like a box full of money, so can be very attractive to passers-by. Keep your bin in a secure but reasonably accessible place, and we’ll arrange to collect it from your nominated location. Just make sure we can access the bin safely and won’t encounter any obstacles like dogs, locked gates or flights of stairs!
Containers should be empty of liquid, but you don’t need to clean them.
No. We only accept and pay for bottles, cans and containers that are in good, uncrushed condition.
No – only deposit containers. If you’re not sure, check the container for the 10c label.
We take your entire bin to an approved collection depot and replace it with a clean, empty bin. It’s all part of the service!
Yes, please leave all caps on your plastic bottles when placing them in your Can Club bin.
Within five days of collecting your bin we’ll send you notification of:
a) The number of deposit containers we counted from your bin.
b) The total we have paid into your nominated account.

(Coming Soon) Can Club will send you a receipt, that shows the money has been paid to your nominated charity or club. Receipts are issued at the end of the financial year. You should check with your financial advisor whether you are able to claim it as a tax deduction.
